To be presented for sale  to benefit the North Carolina Alzheimer’s Association.  My husband was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer disease at the age of 50.  20% of the proceeds from my sales go to
benefit caregivers.

This colorful field of tulips feel, to me, as if I was laying right in the middle of them.

One of the joys in this journey is  my passion to create and capture all that is still good.

Please join me in helping to stop Alzheimer’s...now and for future generations.

Time for Tulips     12x24, original oil on gallery wrapped canvas.  Ready to hang.  Free shipping.

This is another in my intuitive abstract series done in oil using the paints I have mixed from creating a representational work. I will be selling these works at the 2 day Art Student's League of Denver's Summer Art Market June 9 and 10, but thought I would release some before the market. These are really a joy to create, some just don't come together and get thrown away but others are gems like this one. I compare the painting experience to a game of golf, some days you hit the sweet spot every time and other days..........well, you get the picture

This is an original oil on a stretched cotton canvas wrap that measures 20 x 30 x 2. The painting is done in a heavy impasto/palette knife technique and is finished on all sides to match the front. This painting will have the hanging wiring on it when purchased unless requested otherwise.
I wanted to paint something that depicted spring blossoms blowing in the wind as they fall off the trees. These reminded me of cherry blossoms that I grew up with. To purchase or view additional paintings go to www.janicetranejones.com or contact at janicetranejones@aol.com.

Continuing with with abstract art, I am creating miniature images from my oils leftover at the end of my painting day. This is one in a series of three. I love to see what my palette looks like with all the leftover piles of color from creating a larger representational painting. I am creating these small gems for the Summer Art Market in June put on by the Art Student's League of Denver.
