Contemporary Abstract Oil Painting
There are many shapes, colors and images in this contemporary abstract. The viewer's eye doesn't rest while looking at this painting....My inspiration for this painting was a dragonfly that John Wyne found in our yard...I guess you could say that I have started collecting dragonflies since I have a total of four. They are very interesting creatures. The picture below is a close-up of the dragonfly.

Golden Dragonfly

This contemporary abstract is finally finished. I had started it about six months ago and it was one of those paintings that I did not feel like it was complete. I kept adding lines, shapes and color. The wings of the dragonfly disappeared into hard edges and angles.
