Joyful Day

This little painting is popping with color. It is a detour from my large pieces.....6" x 6" is very small compared to the large canvases that I usually use. Palette Knife Painting
Image looking up in the sky with the wind whipping around, trees blowing and a storm coming in. That is what I imagined when I painted this contemporary abstract. I blended the colors in the background, using wide brushes. The leaves and trees were laid in with thick layers so that there is texture on the linen.
