I think I'm having a love affair with the colors gray, red and white.  Hmmm... This painting is done by slathering several layers of cold wax and oil paint and then rubbing, scraping and peeling off different layers.  Gold foil is the finishing touch. Enjoy!

I love dress forms - even though I never wear dresses!  If you look closely you can see a vintage dress pattern sneaking through the wax.  This piece is from a series of six different encaustic dresses called "Emerging Patterns."
