Heavily textured painting. Layer after layer of thick acrylic paint.

I photographed bits and pieces of this painting and put it into a slideshow, so you (dear viewer) can have a better feeling of the texture.
The final photograph from the painting will be finished tomorrow, after it dries completely.

This painting is a mixture of my representational and abstract styles. It is a rich mixture of textures created using a palette knife with some brush work. I have painted it for our 10th Anniversary Show at Brushstrokes on April 27. It has been really busy here as I get ready for the Brushstrokes show and the Colorado Governor's Invitational Art Show and Sale that opens on April 28th. Guess I won't be taking any weekends off for this month!
